Madan Moudgal


Madan is a Healthcare IT leader and business executive who has influenced the development of several innovative products and solutions. Over the past 25+ years, Madan has conceptualized, designed and led development of IT enabled solutions for healthcare payers, providers and manufacturers. As a serial entrepreneur, he has been instrumental in leading or founding numerous start-ups including CareGain Inc. (acquired by Fiserv Inc.), Trignon Health Inc. and CareFacets, LLC. Each of these firms focused on different aspects of healthcare technology application. Madan started his career at EDS Corp., where he spent many years working with a number of clients in the payer and pharmaceutical segments of healthcare. Madan holds a M.S. in Mathematics from Bangalore University, India and an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business.

Donald Searing, Ph.D.

Senior Director, Sales & Marketing

Having been with Colibrium since the company's inception, Don is not only a passionate advocate for us, he's a through-and-through expert on all our products and processes, as well as the health insurance sales and service processes our tools manage. Don knows the Marketplace and Forward products inside and out, from their functional capabilities to their most detailed technical offerings, which makes sense considering he led the team that originally created them. Given his expertise, Don works closely with clients to uncover their pain points and understand their challenges, so that the delivery team can provide a solution configured to best suit their needs. As a published author with a doctorate from Texas A&M, the breadth and depth of his knowledge is unrivaled and we're thankful to have him promote the Colibrium message to the world.

Tim Barchie


Tim is an operational leader with broad experience in high-growth software, technology and service companies. He brings expertise in defining and optimizing business processes, business strategy, utilizing technology and taking a consultative approach to Colibrium's finance, accounting, administration and legal needs. As Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operations Officer, he is responsible for executing on the creation of business value for Colibrium's customers, employees, and investors. In his previous life, Tim held financial leadership and management positions with Spherion, Stonebranch, Kinetix and 22Squared. He is a graduate of the College of Business at Florida State University and attended Rutgers University Law School.

Ragan Fabrici

Director of Team Experience

UGA alum Ragan Fabrici has held many titles throughout her career, from Director of HR at digital agency IQ to Talent Acquisition Consultant at 22squared. But when she arrived at Colibrium, none of those titles felt appropriate. So Ragan decided to create her own moniker, Director of Team Experience. Part human resources, part employee relations, part recruitment, Ragan loves the psychology behind her role—understanding what incentivizes someone to take a job and ultimately what they need to stay in it. As she continues to build the Colibrium team and culture, Ragan has already proved that what motivates people to come into work everyday isn’t necessarily money or power. It’s each other—and a well-stocked break room doesn’t seem to hurt either.

Jason McDonald

Sr. Director, Technical Delivery

Jason is a career software engineer, manager, and executive with over 20 years of professional software experience. He spent his high school and college years writing code and he holds a Business Administration degree from South University. He has owned multiple small consulting companies, worked for large and small companies, and has spent time in engineering, architecture, and management roles since 2000. Over the past 17 years he has held Engineering leadership roles for Benefitfocus and Verisign.


Laura Lawrie

Director, Product Management

As Director of Product Management, Laura's primary goal is to create a simple, intuitive, and holistic solution that empowers health plans to achieve their sales, retention, and member service goals. Her leadership style, subject matter expertise, and experience wearing many different hats at Colibrium lends her the perfect mix to do just that. Having joined Colibrium in 2011, Laura has hands-on experience on the Delivery, Product, and Sales teams and pulls from all of her experiences to now lead Product Management. Laura is a graduate of Georgia State University, with a Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Administration.

Susan Miller

National Sales Director

As the National Sales Director for Colibrium, Susan Miller works with health payers across the country in designing and implementing payer-specific technology solutions with their organizational vision and strategic objectives in mind. With over 20 years of experience in the industry, she brings a wealth of knowledge, passion and experience to each Colibrium customer and prospective client. She's walked in the buyer's shoes as a Director of Human Resources and a former business owner, yielding a unique and invaluable perspective. Susan offers an unmatched level of care, attention to detail and singular focus on the customer needs in each and every client-partner engagement, earning her place as a trusted advisor throughout multiple layers of an organization. Susan holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance and English, as well as an MBA in Finance from Loyola University.

Kristy Swayze

Director, Business Delivery

As Director of Business Delivery, Kristy is responsible for ensuring the success of Colibrium Marketplace implementations and delivery of integrated software solutions designed specifically for the health insurance industry. Kristy joins Colibrium with over 20 years of experience in Employee Benefits, Relationship Management, Application Development and Health Systems Implementations. She spent 12 years at Aon Consulting managing large client accounts and a global application development team. Recently, she worked for Aetna's subsidiary bswift, managing delivery teams and building strong client relationships. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics.

Kevin Kupitz

North American Sales Director

Kevin leads our North American sales efforts here at Colibrium. With over 35 years of sales and HIT leadership experience, weaving winning technology strategies into positive everyday business outcomes, Kevin is focused on shaping the healthcare market. Through evangelizing Colibrium solutions and centering efforts around the member experience, he is committed to creating a more useful and understandable healthcare encounter. He has successfully grown several HIT businesses both as an entrepreneur and as a corporate executive. Most recently Kevin was at Wolters Kluwer Health. He is an alumnus of Arizona State University, W.P. Carey School of Business.
